Welcome

Our journey to this point began with a Groupon for a sailing class in 2015 and quickly escalated to the purchase of our boat for local cruising in 2016. At the time, we had both been encouraged by our respective managers to find some "work/life balance," which seemed like a perfect name for our boat. Friends introduced us to the YouTube videos of Gone with the Wynns, and a dream was born. A few years later, we sold our house in California and moved into a 1 bedroom apartment in Washington state, where we had relocated for Bob's job.

Nine years after that first sailing class, we have retired from the corporate world and are ready to start living our dream. Over the next few months we will be finishing preparations to leave the US as part of the Baha Ha-Ha in November 2024. We'll be posting updates as we go along. So, take your time, look around.
